Travel Grant Information

Stay tuned for more information about the 2027 ISCRC, expected this summer.

The ISCRC is pleased to announce the availability of need-based travel grants to offset the cost of attending the ISCRC in January 2026 in Rome, Italy. The maximum award for an individual will vary and may include a free hotel stay and/or travel reimbursement. The total number of travel grants to be awarded depends on the availability of funding.

The following criteria are applied to determine which applicants will be awarded travel grants:

• The applicant must have a paper, panel or critical conversation accepted for presentation at the ISCRC Annual Conference. Note that if a paper is co-authored, only the individual(s) presenting the paper is/are eligible for a travel grant.

• The applicant must complete all required questions listed on the 2026 ISCRC Travel Grant Application Form, including the relevance of the conference to their career in school choice, their need for a travel grant, and whether or not they have previously received a travel grant in prior years. All applicants must also attach a copy of their CV/resume.

The application deadline is Friday, October 31, 2025.

Decisions will be made based on the relevance of the conference to the applicant’s progress in his/her career and expressed need. Successful applicants will be notified by the selection committee via email, and subsidies will be disbursed via EdChoice approximately 30 days after the conference. Travel receipts must be provided.
